Paul 'Frenchy' Fenech
Hi, I’m Paul—also known as "Frenchy," a nickname from my 18 years of service in the army. I’m proud to have served my country, and after my military career, I settled in Northumberland, where I discovered my passion for knife making.
Knife making started as a hobby during a tough time in my life, helping me cope with health challenges and PTSD. Over the years, it has grown into a creative outlet and a way to connect with like-minded enthusiasts. I craft each knife with care, aiming for quality and functionality, and I’m always exploring ways to innovate while honoring traditional techniques.
This website is my way of sharing my craft and connecting with others who appreciate handmade knives. I hope you enjoy exploring my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
Thank you for visiting,
Paul (aka Frenchy)

Daniel Knight
Hi, I’m Daniel Knight—Dan to most. I’m a teacher dedicated to supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, a role that keeps me both grounded and inspired. Outside the classroom, I’m an avid fly fisher and recently began the adventure of ticking off Scotland’s Munros, one summit at a time.
I’ve also discovered a passion for knife making and am fortunate to be learning the craft under the guidance of Paul (aka Frenchy). Though I’m just starting out, I’m eager to hone my skills and eventually create knives that reflect both artistry and function.
Thank you for visiting—I look forward to sharing this journey with you!
